Our favourite Made in Chelsea engagement rings

Though the show brings its fair share of dating drama and cheating scandals, there have been some successful love stories throughout the years of Made In Chelsea. We take a look at our top five engagement rings from our favourite and most memorable couples past and present.

Maeva D’Asccanio and James Taylor

After a failed proposal on the show, James Taylor proposed to the pregnant Maeva at the Trevi fountain in Rome, Italy earlier this Summer. The stunning couple shared their proposal video online which left fans emotional. Maeva can be seen making a wish with her eyes closed whilst throwing a coin into the Trevi fountain as James got down on one knee. The engagement ring itself is 2.5 carat pear shaped diamond that James himself had designed.

Sophie ‘Habbs’ Habboo and Jamie Laing

Jamie Laing proposed to his then girlfriend in December 2021. The proposal took place at the Rosewood Hotel in London, with Jamie arriving early with candles, balloons and flowers in tow. The large oval diamond engagement ring is rumoured to be worth somewhere near £40,000.

Louise Thompson and Ryan Libbey

After two years of dating, this MIC couple got engaged during a trip to LA whilst on a romantic hike. Ryan Libbey designed the ring himself which took weeks of back and forth. The ring itself is a white gold cushion-cut diamond with a personal engraving which reads ‘Always Yours’, adding that sentimental touch.

Binky Felstead and Max Fredrik Darnton 

The MIC fan favourite got engaged to Max in September 2020. It is reported that the engagement ring costs around six figures and includes around six or seven carats of diamonds. The shape itself is an unusual octagonal design with one large gem at the centre, with the style reminiscent of the art deco era.

Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor

This iconic former MIC couple got engaged in July 2017 after rekindling their previous romance. The proposal took place in Greece with the ring reported to be worth around £30,000 to £40,000. The vintage flower halo engagement ring features a centre diamond of 1.5 carat in size and is noticeable from every angle.
